1. Nicholas cages character had to steal 50 cars and had 3 days to plan and do it.
Now, under normal circumstances, it would be a silly thing to even contemplate. It might have been an ego boost but not worth the risk. The gamechanger…his brother was going to be killed if he didn’t do it. It goes from a stupid idea to no-question this is going to happen one way or another.
When it comes to your business, would it be *nice* to succeed. Would it be a *bonus* to grow your business. Or, is it no-question, this is what I want to do, I am going to make a go of it the best I can.
Whilst I don’t advise hiring people to kidnap your relatives and hold a gun to their head till you make a certain amount. You do need a compelling reason to make your business a success. What driving factor is there that you can focus on and push it forward to the next level
2. Nicholas Cage brings together his old team and (reluctantly) his brothers friends
Is this your business model?
This can really hold you back. It creates a bottleneck stopping your business. It creates overwhelm which affects everything you try to do.
Building a team isn’t easy. I am just easing myself into it at the moment but that’s the key point. It doesn’t have to be £2-3k/month for a full-time staff member and all the responsibilities that go along with it. You could opt for part-time staff, zero-hours contracts, freelancers or virtual assistants from UK or abroad.

3. The police are on to them so the plan won’t work.
Their plan is been decided and they begin to action it and progress is good. The police discover what is going on and where they are likely to be and this completely puts a stop to all their plans. Is this game over and time to give up? No! The previous point means that success is the aim one way or another. The characters have to get creative and take a car straight out of the impound lot. The last place anyone would be looking for them.
The fact is every overnight success story misses the critical details. The bit before the success which is months and years of hard work, personal development. sacrifice, failure….
