All being well when I hit send this post will fly through the airwaves and deposit itself on my profile and fan page via Facebooks wordpress plugin. Previously I have been using networked blogs appeared to be penalised in Facebooks ‘edgerank algorithm’ so was pushed down the news feed faster than normal.
I have also been using a 3rd party plugin called ‘Facebook AWD plugin for wordpress’ which was good but there were things that I didn’t like in its set-up and it wasn’t intuitive to use. I’m pretty tech minded myself if I’m having to stop and think and look things up chances are it’s a good indicator that it may be very difficult for an average user.
With Facebooks wordpress plugin, I would assume it wouldn’t get pushed down the news feed so fast (will update on that one soon) and it has a pretty cool feature below the writing area where you can put together a specific message to go with the post when it is published on Facebook and it also allows you to @ tag friends and pages.
So far so good. I really like how quick and easy it is to set-up and use. Like I say I will update after it’s been in use for a while.
